Just got back from a brilliant private performance by T.O.L.D. of his just released debut album 鈥淚t’s Not About Witches鈥� at the elegant SoHo House in West Hollywood.聽 His work has lyrics of stark beauty, with an utterly unique sound — the music of a real artist.聽

My favorite song is 鈥淟ucifer鈥檚 Eyes鈥� with it鈥檚 poetic lyrics, and delicious steel drum rhythms. They gave me a CD as I left, even the photography and artwork on it is artistic and well done.聽 T.O.L.D. is an artist at once sophisticated and elegant, like no one you鈥檝e ever heard before, and certainly one to watch.
